GROUP CLASSES:begin the first week of every month. They are good for getting your feet wet by learning steps and having the opportunity to dance with other people. You do NOT need a partner in order to take group classes. Instructors will have dancers switch partners throughout the class to be sure that everyone has a chance to dance with everyone else. Dancing with multiple partners when learning is a great way to develop the fine skills of leading (gentlemen) and following (ladies).
